OIE/Japan Trust Fund Programme for Strengthening Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Control in Asia

The new two Projects for strengthening HPAI control in Asia were inaugurated at the Inception Meeting for the OIE/Japan Trust Fund Programme for Strengthening Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Control in Asia (Tokyo, Japan, 21-23 April 2008).

The OIE/JTF Project 2008-2012 consists of 3 components and covers Asian OIE Members:

(I) Strengthening Information Networking in Asia;

(II) Strengthening Capacity of Veterinary Services;

(III) Surveillance of wild birds and poultry along migratory flyways and Strengthening the Database for Avian Influenza accessibility by OIE Members.
